Just a quick post to share my salad that I had for lunch. Pretty simple but delicious. I love having salad but I like variety. I’m always looking for new ingredients to try and dressings to top it off with.
I had some leftover baby spinach so I added some raisins, cranberries, sliced almonds, and apples. I finished it off with a dressing made with EVOO, apple cider vinegar, and maple syrup. It was really yummy but would have been even better if my spinach had been fresh. #healthysnacks #healthymeal #salads
Look delicious? It was!! and REALLY simple:
Spinach, Cranberries, Raisins, sliced almonds, and apples (If you wanted to add some protein chicken would probably be really good)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO), Apple Cider Vinegar, Maple Syrup.
For the dressing I didn’t use exact measurements. if you want it more tangy put more Apple cider, if you want it sweeter add more maple syrup. Pretty simple! =)
if you are using “21 Day Fix” you could break it down like this:
Green Container: Spinach
Red Container: Chicken (optional)
Purple Container: Apples, Cranberries, Raisins
Blue Container: Almonds
Orange Container: Dressing
